Fossil Fighters Reiko
The other night, I had a dream that Fossil Fighters had a cut super-evolver called Reiko, short for Reikoceratops. Serving as an unofficial counterpart to Buldor, it is an overly extravagant ceratopsian that towers over any normal ceratopsian found in-game. It is the evolved form of Penta (the pentaceratops vivosaur) and would've had very high defense & stats that boosted it further.
Both these pieces together (plus the mockup) took me 4 hours and 24 minutes total.
Fossil Fighters Champions belongs to Nintendo and Red Entertainment. Reiko is my creation, and Reikoceratops is not a real dinosaur, it is fictional.
size reference of Reiko, its pre-evolution Penta, and the (female) protagonist, Dina. I played as her in-game, so I'm more inclined to draw her than Dino (the male protag).
A mostly lineless painting of Reiko. Its horns are a bit of a pain, but what can I say? I'm a sucker for iridescent stuff.
