NITRO SQUAD

Personal designs for all the members of the Nitro Squad (sans Tawna)! This was a fun exercise in character design, I did it because I wanted to draw the Nitro Squad in a way where the characters still looked like their original selves, but could be more easily told apart. Of course, their canon designs aren't indistinguishable, but they are all the same height and have very similar faces. So, that's why I changed their designs! I also decided I'd give them all tails (I pretty much always do this when I draw the bandicoots, because it makes them look more like... well, bandicoots) and though it's not entirely clear in these pictures because of the chibi style, I prefer drawing them with the big anime eyes they had in the original CTR, just because I think they're very striking (and QUITE fun to color). Also, Isabella's eyes are depicted as brown instead of blue here as a reference to her original NTSC-J design (they changed her eye color so she wouldn't be confused for Tawna).
