for Crash on the Run s2, N. Tropy was introduced as a boss rather than just an NPC like Oxide in the season prior. Plus, the game hosted a crossover with Domino's, where The Noid showed up as a mid-boss (in fact, each setup for seasonal gangs featured 2 Noids). That was pretty crazy stuff, and it started a bit of a formula for the game, I think. The hexagon behind these 2 in the picture is meant to resemble their icons on the mission computer, which have hexagonal frames. Also, did you know that The Noid was Inferno-type? I would've never guessed! He attacked using an ice raygun, so I thought he would've been frosty. I guess they probably just made him Inferno type because he's red..?
