BSA: The Animation- Character Art

Back in my senior year of high school, I intended for my capstone project to be an animatic for Benny's Strange Adventures. Ultimately I didn't finish the animatic (it turns out the progress I did make would prove to be enough on its own, however), but I did have a script and storyboard, as well as reference sheets for all the characters. Sunny and Rylan are actually 2 halves of the monster that appeared in said episode, and don't appear physically themselves, but said monster was too large to fit on the canvas, so I elected to draw them separately. Also, did you notice Sunny's banded legs? She doesn't have leg roots because they're a male trait for Dandies-- females' legs always have brightly colored bands! Similarly, Male Petalbeasts do not have the extra pair of leaves on their hips like female Petalbeasts do. The leaves are mostly decorative, but sometimes they grow into arms when they evolve. Having hundreds of tiny eyes seems to be a trait exclusive to Barbie, though.
