Commission--Space Aliens and Spider Demon

My latest commission, this time for someone on discord. My client, we'll call her Emi, asked for a cel-shaded drawing featuring characters made by https://www.artstation.com/misaffective4 (she, Emi, and a 3rd friend of theirs, who you can find at https://nightmare-fueled.tumblr.com/ all roleplay as said characters together) alongside characters they like. So, I guess it's like a crossover!

This drawing took me 11 hours and 26 minutes, on & off over the course of a week.

Angel Dust belongs to Vivziepop, Oxide and Zem belong to Activision.

The final piece! You can't tell from the images here, but the lineart and color for the foreground characters was on a completely different layer than the bg ones. So the Bg characters still look complete with the foreground ones taken away.

really basal sketch. Not quite a thumbnail, more like very rough construction shapes with a few identifying features.

a warmup of Emiko. I wanted to make sure I got her outfit and hairstyle correct; she is rather complex.

a warmup of Misami. I've drawn her before, but this outfit is new so I wanted to get a good feel for it before I drew it in the actual piece.

a warmup of Naomi. I've never drawn her before either, and I was shown 2 refs of her that looked a bit different... fortunately it was pretty much just a discrepancy in stocking color, and you can't see her stockings in the final piece, so it's fine.
