Steadfast Seafarers! (All Tomorrows)

A Sail Person and a Tool Breeder teaming up for a double ambush! Who are they fighting? ... I'm not really sure. Maybe it's a stray Gravital!
This image mostly stemmed from my desire to draw a Sail Person (they're my favorite species of posthuman) but I wanted it to be kind of similar to my last All Tomorrows piece in tone, with the collaboration of 2 different kinds of posthuman. I actually thought it'd be more difficult to draw the Tool Breeder, but it was actually the opposite...

warmup sketches. As you can see, I was conflicted about whether the Sail People would stand on 2 legs or use their wings to walk. It didn't affect the final piece, but if you're curious, I think they're quadrupedal.
